sicily in pictures – part 1

first part of the sicily pictures are from mamma’s birthday. we had a nice day filled with card playing, a walk to get to know the area, and good food and wine.

bbq season is ON

first bbq of the season had its premier yesterday. after a wonderful day of laying in the sun (and burnt my face after a week in sicily????!!!!) we invited some friends over to eat ribs, drink beer and have a good time. since the evenings are still cold, we broke up the party around ten.

but what a nice first day back!

one of the benefits of have lived in several places/countries is that i have amazing friends who are always there for me. sends me small lovely messages when i’m down. it’s appreciated. very appreciated.

i’m fine. really. it’s like i can finally breathe again. very happy to be in sunny innsbruck.
