another day in our lives
today i heard back from a job i applied to last week. this will be my first real job interview in sweden. i’m so ready for it! i quickly booked a flight to stockholm from bastad and will spend 3 days there (8-10/7). time to do things such as opening a bank account, look for apartment and i don’t know what else.
it’s all happening…

and spain beat the germans. which would normally be totally ok with me if it wasn’t for the fact that i now just barely missed third place in our betting pool. not a lot of money but lunch would have been covered for a week… but what can you do.
feels a bit sad that it’s all over. but i bring some wonderful memories with me and TONS of pictures. i mean, part of the reason i decided to move back was that hanging out with all the swedes made me realize how swedish i really am. so thanks euro; it was a blast!

it’s really official that you are leaving when you see your own job posted on the internet. check out burton.com and look under jobs – europe – retail marketing coordinator. the ad forgets to mention that the candidate also needs to be awesome! anyone?

another amazing day in the garden with anna och totti. this will for sure be what i will miss the most when i leave. hanging out in the garden with my friends…
the bees went a bit crazy today though because i guess their queen has left them. so without a leader they moved out of their house and into the tree. luckily they decided to move back and our bee man is happy.
tonight we went to some concerts in town. was ok, but i’m just beat now and heading to bed. another sunny day tomorrow i hope…

phew… finally we got internet back after it died during the thunderstorm on thursday!
last night i went to a mexican themed party and bbq at viola’s house. i did have quite a few tequilas, so i’m definitely feeling that today.

nu har jag sagt upp mig. och ska flytta till sverige. stockholm sa småningom men först blir det nog att hänga i båstad tills jag får ett jobb och lägenhet. 15 augusti är min sista dag här.
