another day in our lives
i didn’t bring my camera to the premiere, but i snapped some shots with my cellphone. the first ones are from watching the red carpet from the salon and the last two are when zac efron and vanessa hudgens were interviewed in front of us. i should have videofilmed the screams… unreal!
today i got to enjoy walking the red carpet and watch the exclusive first screening of high school musical 3 together with atti, martina and anna! the stars of the movie, zac efron and vanessa hudgens, were both there to please the huge screaming crowd which had gathered on hotorget in stockholm. i will try to find some pictures from the crowd later. fun!

the last few days have been extremely exhausting and i’ve had a really hard time sleeping. i’ve been digging deep trying to figure out what i want with my life. i feel like i’ve taken all advises to great consideration (thanks everyone for taking your time to help me out!) and actually been able to listen and keeping an open mind (for you who know me knows that it’s not easy for me). i think i’ve come to peace with that i live here now and things are really looking up. this all sounds like a cliche, but it’s really true. it’s a new beginning.

new day – new start – new attitude. so life doesn’t always go my way. well imagine how boring it would be if it did!
we had a beautiful day and totti and i went to our favorite spot by the water after work. totti decided to step into the water but didn’t realized how deep it was and had to swim and struggle to get back up on the cliff. so cute!
i got this amazing apartment right in the area where i want to live for the price i wanted!!!!!!

or no, that wasn’t me – someone else got my dream apartment before i even got a chance to bid on it.
well this blows.
stockholm is a pretty big city as you all know but it doesn’t stop you from running in to familiar faces. today when i was waiting for the bus my own brother walked by with nellie, jenny and little skalman! how lucky was i!? juhlin jr is only 3 days old and i got to see him! i feel so blessed and honored. 
he’s such a beautiful little boy. can’t wait to see them again.
yesterday totti and i headed to taby to see nina and joel to catch up. joel is such a little cutie and pretty fearless and totti was in heaven among all the baby toys which were spread over the floor. i tried taking some pictures but realized that what’s harder than photographing a little bull terrier is getting a 16 month old baby to be still long enough for a photo.
at night i went to martina’s house and had some wine before giving stockholm nightlife another try. this time we went to a place which is called imperiet and it was actually quite nice. it didn’t stink and it was a good mix of people. next time i really want to go some place for dancing though. i miss it!
and then today sunday. disney channel had their gala premiere of “camp rock” with the teenage idols “jonas brothers”. i had very low expectations but it was entertaining and fun and after the movie i heard the kids saying that they thought it was amazing! so good for disney channel.
with me i brought sophie who i have realized is the person i’ve known the longest in my life (other than my family) and who i’m still in touch with. we hadn’t seen each other in years and it was really great to catch up. she has spent her life travelling and living in different countries just like i’ve done, and she understands me and my decision to move to stockholm completely. when she was telling me why she went back to sweden i swear i got goosebumps. i’m super happy we met up and i think she’ll be a great friend of mine here.
then the rest of today was dedicated to spending quality time with the man in my life – totti. now he’s cuddled up on the couch next to me and looks happy. i’m so lucky.
