just a quick note to let you know i’m still alive and haven’t disappeared entirely. but now i’m heading to the airport and then SEATTLE! maybe i will be blogging from there, maybe not. so until then…

yeah, i got myself a little 1,35kg, 11.6″ netbook to bring with me on my vacation to upload all my pictures on. it’s so small and easy to bring with. and a big plus is that it came with adobe photoshop elements which i had already planned to buy regardless. Can’t wait to sticker it up to make it mine! 
picture is taken by my uncle (to my left). i just love it. cutest are of course my dad and totti in the front. what a great memory to keep.
as i said before, i barely took any pictures during the family reunion but mom did so check out her site: http://www.juhlin.nu/foto/ and click on föllinge. make sure you check out my foot. the picture is taken just after it happened and it hadn’t started to bruise yet but you can see a funny looking bump. that’s where the broken bone is!

but today is verena’s 29th birthday! they are having a big party over at casa schneeburg and i guess they forgot to invite me… but then again innsbruck is a bit far from stockholm. i’ve already said happy birthday on the phone and on facebook so this is my third time. happy birthday V! hope all you wish for come true! hugs and kisses

i woke up this morning thinking the pain was completely gone. however, as soon as i got out of bed and the blood started to rush, the pain was there again. just a week from now i have a planned vacation to seattle and my intentions were to go wakeboarding, wakesurfing plus partying and dancing. realizing there’s a big chance this won’t be possible due to my foot i was ready to throw in the towel and skip the whole thing.
but then i got these messages from my friends in seattle saying they missed me and were looking forward to seeing me and i realized that what’s most important is just to see them. and as chris pointed out, even more reason to drink beer! i swear i’m getting fatter by the minute laying on my couch eating and watching ugly betty, but to hell with it. i’m happy regardless! and now i can’t wait to see all my friends over there!
wednesday evening to friday evening i started my mini vacation on ålön together with linus and family. totti made a new friend in 7-year-old leo and the two were inseparable the whole time. things like that makes me happy.
we went away on vacation to charge our batteries, but both totti and i returned in pretty bad shape. me with a broken bone in my foot and totti exhausted after 4 days of playing with small children. but fun we had! and my foot is actually already lots better and although i was worrying about what to do with my seattle trip which i leave for next friday, i’m now pretty confident i will be recovered by then. maybe no wakeboarding but wakesurfing for sure. i’ve never been that keen on wakeboarding anyways.
i didn’t take many pictures at the family reunion since mom and several others had very nice cameras and i figured i’d steal some later on… but the pictures from the island should be up shortly.
