the setup was great and the crawfish were delicious. but summer is over and it’s so noticeably in the evenings when you try to sit outside. where did it go? still, we had a good time regardless and i was home by midnight.
i was actually off all thursday from work and spent the day on ålön together with linus and astrid. joel (astrid’s boyfriend) joined us wednesday night for dinner but had to head back to the city for a conference. regardless, we all had a wonderful time and i wish we could have spent the whole weekend there to enjoy the last few days of summer.
next time i go there i expect the leaves to be falling but i can imagine it will be just as amazing.
i still haven’t had a good night’s sleep and i’m getting close to having a breakdown. i figured out that i must have some sort of infection in my body or flu or something because it’s not normal to be this tired. crawfish party tonight but tomorrow sleeeep. well that is before heading to thomas birthday party. how am i going to manage this?
and linus is leaving in a few hours and who knows next time we’ll see each other? but i must stay positive. if it wasn’t for the fact that i’m so tired…
i’m at work drinking my double espresso and trying to wake up. hanging out with linus is great but not getting enough sleep is killing me. luckily i have tomorrow off (heading to ålön) so i’ll be sleeeeping.

it has been a great weekend with some sun and long walks. saturday djurgården and rosendal and sunday söder and årstaviken.

this week will be fantastic because linus has just arrived to stockholm! we haven’t seen each other in almost 4 weeks and last time we just saw each other for a few hours so i’m SO happy to get to spend 5 days with him now! ♥
erik has reached the famous rockstar age of 27 years today and it seems like he partied like one yesterday.

i’m not gonna tell you that totti was completely innocent because he did start the fight by snapping at the other dog for putting a paw on him. but for you who know dogs, that is a sign of dominance and totti does not like other male dogs to try to put him down. well, the other dog didn’t like totti snapping so much and a big fight started. however, totti might sound scary, but he has never bitten another dog. so the fight ends with totti on hos back and this big dog over him with his teeth deep into totti’s neck. scary stuff. of course the other dog was unharmed.
so now i’m watching these 4 holes carefully and cleaning with jodopax. i’m not the first to run to the vet and hope i can take care of this on my own. but first sign of swelling or infection i’m heading to the emergency vet right away. poor totts!

Published August 18, 2009 stockholm , travel 1 Commentor the headline could have been “home sweet home”. travel is tons of fun and especially when you get to see your friends but let me tell you – it’s nice to be home. i love love love my life in stockholm.
i have this amazing little dog who is everything to me. i never want to be apart from him for more than one week again!
i love my job and i’m planning on holding on to it as hard as i can.
i got my own little tiny apartment which is great just because of the fact that it’s MINE! and coming fall i will start with the kitchen renovation and making it even better.
i have an amazing boyfriend who although he’s most of the time in oslo (like right now) still is just a phone call and short flight away. and have i mentioned he’s really hot?
and of course my fantastic friend astrid who’s always there for me and all the others who makes my life here in stockholm so great!
i do have tons of pictures from my last days in seattle and port angeles and i have to get to that… just not right now. once i’ve slept it off i will tell you all about it and about all the people who makes seattle so amazing.
