about our friends

 

ASTRID LUNDQUIST – my wingman in so many different ways. originally we met through a forum for bull terrier owners/lovers, but have since then found so many other similar interests such as party, boys, design, travel and now the steady twosome lives. i have no idea what life in stockholm would have been like if i hadn’t met astrid and question is if i’d even be here? she’s the kind of person who’s always there for you when you need it, always ready for some fun, and a romantic at heart like myself who never stops dreaming.

ANNA HETZELT – anna was the best roommate anyone could ask for and i used to say that if she’d been a man we’d live happily ever after! i miss her so much and i can’t even imagine how much she must miss totti. even though i know we’ll stay friends, it saddens me to know that we’ll never live like we did again.

VERENA BOSSMAN – used to be my next door neighbor in innsbruck (in same house) but now i have to chase her down on facebook and skype to stay in touch! she’s travelling most of the year due to her job as pr mgr for ttr so i hope to meet up a couple of times this season. she’s is probably the one who gets me the best of all my friends. maybe because in ways we are so much alike. verena once said that my life is like a tv show and if the storyline gets boring, i spice it up myself. i guess that is true. and now i miss telling her all about it and her giving me advice on my love life and all other things.

BARBARA KASTNER – was my upstairs neighbor in innsbruck. she’s a fantastic friend who’ll just listen to you for hours. she used to be my fellow single gal but now she’s happily in love and i couldn’t be more happy for her! not sure where she’ll end up in the world but regardless i will continue to consider her as one of my best friends.

YVONNE RAKBJÖRG – was my fellow scandinavian in innsbruck and i could always count on her to do something fun. she’s smart, beautiful and strong. in other words a catch and bartoz is a lucky man to have her! i’m definitely hoping she’ll move back to scandi some day and why not stockholm? .

PAUL ESTES – my best friend from seattle and favorite travel buddy. there is nothing paul wouldn’t do for his friends and family. a truly wonderful guy.

ANNA ALEVRA – my “oldest” friend who happens to have the same birthday as i do. she’s probably the smartest person i know and back in the days before internet, she was my personal google. she’s also a fantastic person to ask for advise on just about anything. unfortunately for me, she lives in copenhagen
