monday evening at obaren with astrid, linus and his friend tobbe. some beer and good time with friends makes this time of the year a bit more bearable.

can i please get a time-out?
Published November 11, 2009 ME , båstad , stockholm , totti Leave a Commentstockholm is a wonderful city. it really is. but right now the city is just covered in clouds and people with frowns. it’s the gray season and everyone here just waits for it to be over. if i had some vacation days left, this would be the time to use them. but luckily, christmas is just 6 weeks away. but until then…?
it was julie’s birthday the other day (which i remembered a day too late – typical me) and made me think of her wedding and all the pictures i haven’t gone through. it’s just like me to avoid it all together when there’s SO many pictures to go through. here’s one of my favorites though. she’s just so beautiful, excited and happy in the picture.
kitchen planning, dogsitting, lost keys, dinner with gelhaars and boyfriend smooching are a few things which are taking up my time. other than lost keys life is darn good. next time i write it will probably be from Båstad since Linus and i are going to visit my parents coming weekend.

PS: Nina gave birth to a little boy yesterday so big congrats and hoping to see pictures soon!
today i had to show my id at “systembolaget” (the only place to buy alcohol in sweden – 20 year is the limit). that’s a good start to what will be a great weekend. starting of with after work here at disney and will either continue out afterwards or do a “svensson” and watch swedish idol on tv. then tomorrow celebrate linus little sister’s birthday and then of course the denmark-sweden football match.
i just realized it would have been easier to write this post in swedish but what do i care? peace out!
i have so many things i’d want to share with you. for example, i went to this amazing event yesterday for charity which i want share with you, but not now. i’d like to show you some pictures of the apartment, but that has to wait. and i started to “subscribe to” locally grown veggies which get delivered to my door. but tonight is just not the night to blog about these things.
tonight is all about me and fredagsmys is ON!

Published September 30, 2009 ME , bull terrier , friends , party , stockholm , totti 4 Commentshere are some more pictures from the weekend that just past. unfortunately i had to censor most of the pictures from the party (i was not always the photographer…) but that means more dog pictures which you all of course love! 
i love it when i get a lot of stuff done. i guess it does help that linus went back to oslo today…
so this is what i got done:
- did 3 loads of laundry including bed sheets. mmm love the feel of just tumbled sheets.
- installed my new 32″ sony bravia! yes, i caved in and got myself a tv. and oh dear god i have a TON of channels. i’m a satisfied customer
- FINALLY got around to get wireless internet. about time to reduce amount of cables!
- put together the frames which will hang over the couch and nailed fabric to them AND managed to get my thumb in between. so i had to stop and finish tomorrow…
- cooked dinner (red curry thai with an added tiny fish caught by linus the other day) and made lunch boxes for the next two days.
- and a bunch more!
i still have a lot to do in the apartment after my trip to ikea yesterday, but time to hit the bed. and tomorrow linus will be back again but i’m guessing he will be busy with my 300 channels i have so i can finish up the stuff around here. oh and yes, i will take some pictures of the place soon enough…

what a weekend! sunny weather, great company and tons of food (and beer, wine and snaps!). i was pretty beat last night but well worth it. thanks to all and of course especially to Linus and his parents who let us use their place.
