2009 recap (jan-june)

JANUARY

i bought my very first apartment and moved to this street

and became a party princess and spent many nights out together with astrid.

FEBRUARY

totti spent valentine’s day with his girlfriend ester

and i’ll never forget the funnest afterparty ever where i played rockband with astrid, frida, tompa and anton.

MARCH

astrid and i started to hang out at obaren, played ping-pong every sunday and made lots of new friends

and i was this happy:

APRIL

my apartment started to look like a home after i got my favorite couch and table

and i spent easter in båstad where spring had an early start.

MAY

valborgsmässoafton with carissa among others and rosé wine season was in bloom

and spring came to stockholm as well and we went to sebbe’s dad’s place in the archipelago.

JUNE

all of a sudden it was summer and i had the best weekend ever with astrid, frida, tobbe and many others on stora långholmen,

my wonderful friend anna and her boyfriend andi visited

and i fell in love with linus.

back in sthlm…

and i have so many things going through my head. see, i have this idea for a business and since i’ve never had my own business before, this is all very big to me. i easily get scared and start doubting myself – but not this time! so if it’s quiet here on the blog for a while, expect a lot soon!

oh but first it’s new years with linus here. ♥

we arrived in båstad late last night and now we’re so ready to celebrate christmas with the family!

a boring update

* still lots and lots of snow.

* company christmas party was last friday. i got to get some pictures up here. when i have time.

* totti is doing fine and the insurance company approved our claim so i don’t have to panic for money!

* work is strangely busy, but hoping to get a lot done in between christmas and new years since office will almost be empty.

* linus is in stockholm and we exchanged christmas gifts yesterday. he loved his super duper jacket and i loved my present too. will show you later…

* today is soffy’s birthday (linus sister) so we’re heading there tonight to celebrate her.

* tomorrow i’ll head down to båstad to celebrate christmas with the family. can’t wait. let’s just hope they get some snow there too!

lost in… lost

if you’re wondering why i’m not blogging at the moment, it’s because i’m busy watchin lost season 4 and 5 on my new blu-ray player i got from linus. i’ll get back to you all once i’ve finished.

christmas, arrive already!!!

there’s a knot in my stomach that just won’t go away. it’s like there’s an anxiety hanging over me that i can’t get away from. i mean, it’s the totti issue which comes along with the money issue. then it’s the darkness and lack of sunlight. lack of sleep and lack of fun. missing my friends and missing my boyfriend.

honestly, i have no reason to complain, i’m a lucky girl. i guess i just need to christmas to arrive now! let’s look at some previous christmas eves.

2008: in los together with family at the gelhaars vacation house. lots and lots of snow.

2007: in båstad with parents, erik and emil plus family.

2006: again in båstad and 2 new additions to the juhlin family, totti and also nellie

2005: first christmas back in båstad together with legolas

2000: with my christmas gift – linus the kitty

happy birthday astrid!

today is astrid’s birthday and how does she celebrate her day? by getting the hell out of here!!! she’s now in a plane on her way to tanzania, zanzibar and other exotic places. i’m not at all envious…

picture below is from one of the amazing nights we had last spring and at least astrid is all tan. that particular evening we actually sat in humlegarden, watching skateboarding while drinking rosé and eating popcorn. ah, such a random and fun evening.

we had such a wonderful evening at linus’ place on saturday with amazing food and great company. oh, and lots and lots of wine… linus is the ultimate host and won’t let you sit with an half empty glass…

i just snapped a few pictures and below you’ll see fredrik,  johanna, joel and myself. henrik, astrid, linus and of course totti were also there.

innsbruck wasn’t JUST party

i did get a day of snowboarding with some of my best friends too. verena the german, babsi the austrian and yvonne the norwegian. ah what a great quartet we were.

last night in innsbruck before leaving i finally got to see anna s. and her boyfriend andi. best part about moving from place to place is that you have friends all over the world and being apart from them just makes you realize which ones are the keepers. anna is definitely one of them!
