another day in our lives
not that i’m wearing anything very exciting but i just wanted to share with you that it’s wednesday and i’m going out! obaren bday party and astrid and i are heading there very shortly. who did you call boring? 
btw, i barely recognize myself. do you?
last night i decided to ignore the rain and dress up in strappy sandals and summer top. i did wear a raincoat though…
it was a great night out together with Astrid and her friend My who was in town and Frida. we started at obaren, continued to berns and finished at solidaritet where we danced to 90’s hits such as rythm is a dancer and electric. it’s a bit of a suburbian high school discotheque feel at soli but we had a blast.
today it has been rain, rain, rain and more rain. unbelievable. i heard last time it stockholm saw such a cold june was 1955. my luck huh? and i hear oslo is warm and sunny. sigh…
yup, it was sweden’s “birthday” yesterday and we celebrated it by watching sweden loose to denmark in the world cup football qualifications. just great… 4 girls with different levels of enthusiasm for the game watched it at martina’s place. afterwards we headed to le rouge and later i met up with Linus and his friends at 1900. it didn’t take long to forget all about sweden not making it to the world cup in south africa. i have other “things” to keep my mind on. ♥
i just napped for a few hours to catch up on missed sleep due to yesterday’s party. astrid and i started out at christian’s company “house” warming party where they served great appetizers and wine. after a few glasses we had to move on to the fornarina store for a party there. they served drinks and i got myself a goodiebag and astrid did some shopping. was in a pretty good mood by the time i met up with a friend for drinks at anglais.
all night was a lot of fun, and i guess especially the hours spent at anglais which seemed to pass by like minutes. explanation is that i was in very nice company. 
better start packing now, tomorrow we’re heading to the archipelago! summer has arrived!
summer is coming and every night is a party night! some brand party at utecompagniet (super shitty organized) and then a fantastic cd release party at obaren. i was looking casual… i’ll try to write about this amazing band tomorrow. time for bed now! night!
christian invited me to f12 and i gladly accepted! it was a completely different crowd than on monday and i had such a blast! i can imagine we’ll spend many saturdays there from now on…

freezing cold didn’t stop astrid and i from heading to the opening of f12 last night. and this what i looked like. a bit more clothes than normal huh? sun, come back!
the music was amazing, the drinks were strong and the guys were hot – what more could a girl ask for? if i could move in time i would bring myself back to last night and do it all over again.
LOVE goes out to Lordenzo for organizing, Krull & Kim for spinning the best music in stockholm and of course Fred Ventura for bringing the magic to obaren.

just got back from ping-pong at obaren and can i tell you it wasn’t easy to focus tonight. one reason being that i got home at 5am last night after drinking since 5pm. strangely i wasn’t drunk, but a bit worn out today. physically and emotionally. maybe i’ll share some of the pictures of that night some other time. for now another outfit picture to add to the library.

friday night housewarming was a blast and it was so nice to have the girls over. unfortunately i was so busy socializing that i forgot to take pictures. typical. but here’s at least the outfit… evening continued to o where krull was playing.
