monday evening at obaren with astrid, linus and his friend tobbe. some beer and good time with friends makes this time of the year a bit more bearable.

the absolut icebar in stockholm re-opened its doors with the new theme and ice and this was celebrated with a little event pulled together by the one and only astrid. the new theme was inspired by a factory and you could find things like a monitoring screen, hard hats, absolut bottles and glasses on a conveyor belt and a big red button which clearly stated “don’t push” (but i did!).
i managed to snap some pictures before my camera broke. yes, my canon is very unhappy at the moment. hopefully it can be fixed easily!

the setup was great and the crawfish were delicious. but summer is over and it’s so noticeably in the evenings when you try to sit outside. where did it go? still, we had a good time regardless and i was home by midnight.

Published August 7, 2009 ME , friends , party , travel Leave a Commentlike i told you earlier, the weather has turned crap. this amazing hot summer which everyone here has been bragging about it GONE. sun barely makes an appearance and temperatures have dropped to below 20 degrees celsius. sucks.
but anna arrived last night and we had a few drinks at the apartment in chris’s amazing, fully stocked, self made tiki bar. fun times!
we’ve got some boring weather over here and i’m just chilling at the apartment watching movies and looking through the pictures. so here are a few more from lake washington.
decisions, decisions… which bikini should i bring to oslo? which dresses? how many dresses can you bring for a stay of 3 nights? anyways, i’m super happy to be packing for my postponed trip tomorrow. it’s been way too long since i saw Linus now.
today will be spent out in the sun together with Anna Schwarz and her boyfriend Andi. friends from innsbruck. finally it feels like summer again!

i just napped for a few hours to catch up on missed sleep due to yesterday’s party. astrid and i started out at christian’s company “house” warming party where they served great appetizers and wine. after a few glasses we had to move on to the fornarina store for a party there. they served drinks and i got myself a goodiebag and astrid did some shopping. was in a pretty good mood by the time i met up with a friend for drinks at anglais.
all night was a lot of fun, and i guess especially the hours spent at anglais which seemed to pass by like minutes. explanation is that i was in very nice company.
better start packing now, tomorrow we’re heading to the archipelago! summer has arrived!
15:00 AW at the office. white wine. guessing a bottle.
19:00 i’m late for dinner at carissa’s place. shit what am i suppose to wear? oh well, i’ll go in work clothes – no outfit pic.
19:30 arrival at carissa’s. bubbly
20:00 delicious food. red wine.
23:00 decided to go to debaser humlan – no wait – ute comp – oh no EAST. mojitos.
01:00 moved on to solidaritet. not my idea but nice to be able to get the others in for free. the boys were impressed by my skills. more drinks. not sure what.
04:00 ok still at solidaritet. drinking what? hanging out with who? talking about what? oh no i didn’t…
05:00 hmm time to go home. what a night….
