another day in our lives
i’m trying to go through all the pictures from the wedding but there are so many! these below are from the night before the wedding. we had dinner at julie’s new mother in law’s house and decided to hit the bar (note singular for bar, we were in port angeles after all…). tons of fun of course with angela and julie (plus keegan 
).
or the headline could have been “home sweet home”. travel is tons of fun and especially when you get to see your friends but let me tell you – it’s nice to be home. i love love love my life in stockholm.
i have this amazing little dog who is everything to me. i never want to be apart from him for more than one week again!
i love my job and i’m planning on holding on to it as hard as i can.
i got my own little tiny apartment which is great just because of the fact that it’s MINE! and coming fall i will start with the kitchen renovation and making it even better.
i have an amazing boyfriend who although he’s most of the time in oslo (like right now) still is just a phone call and short flight away. and have i mentioned he’s really hot? 
and of course my fantastic friend astrid who’s always there for me and all the others who makes my life here in stockholm so great!
i do have tons of pictures from my last days in seattle and port angeles and i have to get to that… just not right now. once i’ve slept it off i will tell you all about it and about all the people who makes seattle so amazing.
in just a few minutes angela, keegan and i will leave seattle and head for port angeles where julie is getting married. tonight is the rehearsal dinner and since we are all staying together at the same hotel, i guess it will be a great party. we’ve even prepared with some bottles of flavored vodka and lemonade – my new favorite drink.
so goodbye seattle. i don’t know when i will come next time. i think it’s about time for seattle to come to me!

so when weather turned to shit over here, i realized the one good thing to do… SHOP! and the best of them all is bellevue square. so peanut (well actually keegen) was nice and gave me a lift there. the swedish krona is pretty strong right now and we actually get a lot for our money. so i’m bringing stuff back from brands such as abercrombie & fitch, ralph lauren, tommy hilfiger, hollister, burberry and levi’s. i’m slowly trying to make my wardrobe slightly more mature and i have to say i’m very happy with my purchases. tomorrow however, i’ll be shopping for a wakeboard and/or wakeskate. not sure peanut will drive me this time though.
sunday actually cleared up enough to go out on the boat and do a lake tour. the houses on this lake are just unreal and you have to wonder if these people really need that much space. but on the other hand not many people understand how i can live in an 25 square meter apartment… but the tour was great! in the pictures you’ll see anna h, jen, chris, angela, keegen and peanut.
yesterday ended up being a fantastic day even though the weather wasn’t what i had hoped for. pike place market, seattle waterfront, seafood, girl talk, beer, baseball, drinks, kirkland, time out, jack in the box… just a few key words. i will recap with pictures another day because now it’s time for cloudy boating. i’m forcing anna to get in the lake even though the sun is nowhere to be seen.

i was afraid this would happen but there was no way i could imagine it would be this bad. but of course, seattle has had the best summer ever so of course i get 4-5 nice days and then just shit. i really don’t know what to do over here when the weather is like this. for the weekend it will be ok since anna is visiting, but starting monday when everyone is working? what will i do here? i came for a great summer vacation and this is what i get. ahhhh i’m so depressed!
like i told you earlier, the weather has turned crap. this amazing hot summer which everyone here has been bragging about it GONE. sun barely makes an appearance and temperatures have dropped to below 20 degrees celsius. sucks.
but anna arrived last night and we had a few drinks at the apartment in chris’s amazing, fully stocked, self made tiki bar. fun times!
